Caitlyn Brandenburg

Caitlyn grew up in various parts of the United States, and discovered a love for art at an early age. At age 13, she determined to take her craft more seriously, practicing and studying relentlessly.

She is self-taught, began selling commissioned pieces at age 16, and continues to do so. She is passionate about capturing emotion through color and perspective in her work— seeking to make the viewer feel effected by what they see, as well as challenge them to open own their eyes to see the world around them in a deeper way— to glimpse the beauty and meaning of life.

Caitlyn does work in various mediums (colored pencil, graphite, oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels). Prior to teaching at Mary’s Art Studio, she has taught children’s art lessons and finds deep fulfillment in guiding others to discover their own artistic voice.
